These flowers were winners at the Orchid show. Unrelated aside: Prior to the seeing the show, Carmen and I toured a few museums. We also ate at O'Connelly's, the only brownstone on the same street as the MOMA. It was a quaint bar with great eats. I was in need of a cold beer or a cocktail but I was driving. Now that I think of it, Carmen could of drove home, bummer.

Today the Orchid Show is closing at Rockefeller Center. Last week, I hung out with a photo buddy and we hit a few exhibits in the city. This image is a remembrance of the day, inspiredly busy but lovely at the same time.

The weather has been just lovely, not to hot and not to cold. I took this snap in my backyard and the bee just came along. Buzzing and pollenating its merry way.

We hung out for dinner @ E.B. Eliott in Freeport. We had a evening filled with laughter, drinking and boats. There was a slight chill in the air but it felt good. Have you ever look at the layers in waters?
